Upson Regional Medical Center, a community-based hospital located in Thomaston, Georgia with more than 50 providers bringing expertise in over 20 specialties, is pleased to announce that it’s now a participating provider in the Ambetter from Peach State Health Plan Premier Network and Ambetter Health Solutions (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRA)) network. Both networks provide high-quality, locally based healthcare services to members.
Effective January 1, 2025, the contract with Ambetter Health expands insurance options for several thousand Georgians and will introduce new options for rural residents.
This new contract includes the hospital and all its wholly owned partners including:

- Upson Women’s Services, LLC
- Upson Family Medical Center, LLC
- Upson Surgical Associates, LLC
- Upson Medical Associates, LLC
- Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, LLC
