With two convenient locations in Thomaston and Barnesville, Upson’s rehabilitation therapists and professional staff help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease, as well as treat patients post-operation. Speech Pathology
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) assess and assist patients with difficulty speaking, communicating, and swallowing.
Patients experiencing communication difficulty due to injuries or neurological conditions can
work with a SLP to improve their speech, comprehension, and communication skills. SLPs assist
their patients with handling social settings with confidence by teaching them nonverbal and
verbal skills. Our highly-skilled Speech-Language Pathologists also diagnose and treat patients
with swallowing difficulties.
