King Williams is Breathing Easier with Emergency Pediatric Care

When 5-year-old King Williams was brought to Upson Regional Medical Center’s (URMC) Emergency Room exhibiting severe asthma symptoms, the training and protocols our staff have implemented through the KidsABC program were quickly put into action.

In this video spotlight, our staff and King’s mom share the impact that the KidsABC initiative has had at URMC and how vital it is for our patients to have access to the expert pediatric emergency care they deserve, close to home.

About KidsABC

URMC’s Emergency Department has been working to enhance pediatric emergency care through Kids Alliance for Better Care (KidsABC), which is a collaboration with Mercer University School of Medicine, Georgia Rural Health Innovation Center, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The primary goal of KidsABC is to strengthen and expand quality pediatric care and keep care for kids close to home. Healthy hometowns start with healthy kids.
