Upson Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Meagan Fussell, M.D. to Upson Family Physicians Thomaston location beginning October 1st.
Dr. Fussell practices family medicine and is committed to providing comprehensive health care to patients of all ages. Appointments are currently available to establish care. Her interests include pediatrics (family visits welcome), women’s health with experience in IUD insertions and removal, birth control implants, and annual screenings, weight loss expertise, and adult primary care, including diabetes management and hypertension. Dr. Fussell earned her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She did her residency at the University of Tennessee in Nashville.
Dr. Fussell is a member of the American Medical Association, which is the largest association of physicians and medical students in the United States. The AMA's mission is to promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health. She is also a board certified member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Fussell is excited to be joining the Upson community alongside her husband, Dr. Corey Fussell, who joined Upson Family Physicians in August 2019.
