THOMASTON, Ga., July 13, 2026 — United Bank presented a $100,000 donation to Upson Regional Medical Center (URMC) through the 2026 Georgia HEART Hospital Program, reinforcing United Bank's ongoing commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare in the communities it serves.
The contribution will help URMC continue providing essential medical services to residents throughout Upson County and the surrounding area. The donation represents United Bank's fifth consecutive year of participation in the Georgia HEART Hospital Program, which allows Georgia taxpayers to direct state income tax dollars to qualified rural hospitals.
URMC CEO Dan Owens and CFO Jason Gassett accepted the donation on the hospital’s behalf.
