Dr. Zubernis earned his bachelor’s degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Zubernis is ready to move cross county and be a part of the Upson community with his wife Tina and children Colby and Elizabeth. They also have five other children; Christina, Emily, Jeffrey, Jamie and Christian who live on their own.

“I’ve always loved the south and feel as though I can make more of an impact in a rural community. The culture of Upson Regional Medical Center drew me here because the main priority there is the patient,” said Zubernis.
