Upson Regional Medical Center welcomes this month Mandi Howard, PA-C to its network of providers.
Howard joins Dr. Brandon Boyce as a full-time, certified physician assistant at his Orthopedics, Sports Medicine and Surgery practice.
CEO David Castleberry says she joins the practice at the right time. “Dr. Boyce’s practice volume and overall demand for the orthopedic specialty continues to grow, and Mandi’s presence will provide increased access to those needing appointments,” he said.
Howard earned a Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant degree from Mercer University and completed clinical rotations at Children’s Orthopedics of Atlanta and Georgia Bone and Joint in Fayetteville.
Prior to becoming a certified physician assistant, Howard earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biology from Georgia State University.
Dr. Boyce said Howard is a great fit for his practice. “I have been looking for the right PA for the better part of three years, and the diligent search to find Mandi is already paying off. She is passionate about Orthopedics, and already making a very positive difference.”
A Fayetteville native, Howard is experienced in therapeutic procedures, including injections, casting and splinting; and as a first assistant in arthroscopic and open surgical procedures, including knee arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, carpal tunnel release, and joint replacement surgery.
