Dr. John M. Jenkins, MD, a family practitioner in Thomaston, announced this week the addition of a new provider, board certified family nurse practitioner, Brandi Swatts.
Nurse Practitioners play a very important role in communities large and small, caring for patients together with doctors. By increasing the access to quality healthcare, Swatts will help streamline patient visits and work closely with Dr. Jenkins to provide convenient and timely attention to patients.
Dr. Jenkins says, “We are very excited that Mrs. Swatts has decided to join our team. Her addition will allow us to expand the care we provide to the community”.
Swatts graduated from Georgia College and State University in Macon with a Master of Science in Nursing, received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, and received her diploma in nursing from Gordon College in Barnesville.
Swatts has more than seven years nursing experience in a variety of clinical settings, covering family practice, pediatrics and geriatric medicine.
“We are privileged to have been able to recruit such a solid addition to our team,” says Dr. Jenkins. “We believe Brandi will add another perspective to our emphasis on helping people stay healthy.”
