Upson Regional Medical Center and its affiliates (URMC) are subject to a myriad of federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they carry out their mission of providing quality health care. These laws and regulations are voluminous and complex, and change periodically. URMC’s compliance program helps ensure that everyone in the company understands and complies with all related laws and policies. Without exception, these standards apply to personnel, contractors, clinical and professional staff and our hospital board of trustees.
In order to enhance our collective efforts to comply, URMC, by action of the Board of Trustees, has adopted a Compliance Plan.

*The Compliance Committee shall meet on the second Thursday in March, June, September, and December at 7:30 o’clock A.M. to review and consider any inquiries conducted or supervised by the Compliance Officer and any other business that may come before.*
