Pre-Admission Testing & Education

Pre-Admission Testing & Education (PAT) is provided to teach patients and family members about the surgical procedure. Pre-operative labwork and other testing is typically done at the same time. All patients are encouraged to schedule PAT within 30 days prior to surgery.

Endoscopy
The endoscopy department at Upson Regional Medical Center performs diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy. It consists of three procedure rooms, staffed by a team of nurses and technicians.
For outpatient procedures, pre-register one hour before your scheduled appointment. The endoscopy unit is located on the 1st floor.
