The Upson Regional Medical Center’s Pain clinic offers consulting services in the treatment of acute and chronic pain. Patients referred to the clinic by their primary physicians receive assistance in the evaluation and management of their pain.

Upson Regional Medical Center’s Pain Clinic is staffed by one of the area’s most experienced teams of physicians, nurses and medical professionals dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of pain.

• Specialized nerve block procedures of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine including: 
  •  Epidural blocks
  •  Paravertebral nerve root injections
  •  Sympathetic nerve block procedures
  •  Facet joint blocks
•  Specialized ganglionic and plexus blocks including: 
  • Celiac plexus 
  • Superior hypogastric plexus
  •  Trigeminal ganglionic blocks and others
•  Neurolytic and ablative procedures including:
  •  Radiofrequency
•  Intrathecal pump implantation for the treatment of spasticity and pain malignant problems
•  Spinal cord stimulation techniques and implantation for pain resistant to other treatment
