Respiratory Care Services
Respiratory Care consists of the prevention, treatment, management control, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities with their cardiopulmonary system. Therapy includes, but is not limited to oxygen and humidity administration, mechanical ventilatory support, bronchopulmonary hygiene, artificial airway care, pharmacological agents related to respiratory care procedures and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Diagnostic Services:
Pulmonary Function Studies Diagnostic tests to measure lung volumes and flow rates. In some instances the physician may order the test before and after bronchodilator therapy.
EEG (Electroencephalography) A test that gives important information about the health and functioning of the brain. It detects electrical impulses in the brain and records them on a long piece of graph paper. The physician examines the graph pattern to make a diagnosis or monitor treatment.
Sleep Study A test to for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, such as apnea, narcolepsy, and chronic snoring. Visit our Sleep Disorder Center page.
